The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has formally opened the 2025 application procedure.
Applications at the moment are open and can close on fifteen December 2024.

To qualify for NSFAS funding, an applicant will have to satisfy the following requirements:
• Be a South African citizen or copyright who originates from a home by using a combined gross family income that doesn't exceed R350 000 per annum.

The NSFAS Loan Scheme for the missing middle is open up to all South African citizens and permanent inhabitants from households with combined R350 000 and R600 000 per annum.
